[Guide] How To Level Hero To 20 Without Money

This is written for your 1st hero in the begining.
(tips: always complete daily training quests)
First you should BUILD A BARN(this sounds strange but you'll see it's worth to do)
then while waiting check inventory for this

then you'll have these two items to equip your hero[attach]2222[/attach]
next claim the quest here for a barn lvl1 built
[attach]2223[/attach]
after that you'll see another 3 quests appear so choose this

you will have to defeat like 8 or 9 bluewolves and gain 8 or 9 exp(but no problem about this)
then claim your quest here

after that you'll see your hero's already lvl2(delay some seconds maybe)[attach]2217[/attach]
take a look at the hero, if you put all on strength(recomended strength for newbie because it's hard to have a wand or bow)

now it's time go out and find some monster
find monster 1 star(recomended lvl 1-5)to kill( how to find monster check this [url]http://forum.lo.igg.com/viewthread.php?tid=3105&extra=page%3D2[/url])
your avaiable target for lvl 2 3 4: mobs 1 star [attach]2227[/attach] dont fight axeman even there're a lot around.
axeman is ranged unit - a bunch of axeman = 4 or 5 exp only but take away from you a lot of HP.
it's hard in the begining but be patient!!!#1178088368217
after you're lvl 4 with only strength tribute you'll be able to kill lvl1 equipments lvl 1 around the map with very small HP loss.
continue to kill lvl 1 mobs until you're lvl 8
at lvl 8 with all strength tribute and equipments, you're now able to complete medium training quest
at lvl 8 there's also one more good target for you to kill : Slasher 2 stars(lvl5-10 recomended)
kill them as much as you can
when you reach lvl 10 you should have a Bright Wand(this is a wand for lvl 10 hero - it's cheap and easy to find on the map and auction house unlike
lvl 1 - Disciples Wand)
open the medium package in your inventory and open it

you'll have a portion to re-atribute all your stat(of course it's free)[attach]2221[/attach] so you can adjust your stat suitable for a wand(inteligent require)
then put most of your stat to inteligent and use the wand to continue your journey - it's very easy now to reach lvl 20.

ABOUT SKILL:
For my own experience you should have lvl 5 recovery as soon as you can(at lvl 9)([attach]2226[/attach]-this skill)as requirement to learn the AOE spell in black tower and to open new classes skill( warrior - force - mage)
so you point recovery at lvl 1 3 5 7 9 - and must point only ONE skill at lvl 2 4 6 8(for example enhance strength)
so it's easier and faster to lvl up later

Hope this guide can help people to deal with the trouble - lvl up hero.

PS: be patient because sometimes you cant find lvl 1 mobs.
but after each maintainance there're many of them
if you're quick and a bit lucky you'll success for sure.
right now April 1st i'm in server 12
my hero is 2nd one to reach lvl 100 in that server - of course without using money - and not using a wand at lvl 1-10.
it's not too bad right?

Well done explaining what to kill and how to use points effectively. There`s a lot of guides out there, but this makes it a lot easier to start off, all in all, good job. Simple, effective !!:handshake

In addition:
i've seen many good heroes, and most of them after lvl 10 will have the stat for int+ str or int+ agi or balance all stat
because big Agility help you much in combat
it's allow your troops to hit earlier and help your hero move a bit faster.

Strength provide a lot of HP for safe fight with monsters,
and also give bonus phys attk and def to troops

Inteligent provide bonus magic attk and def for troops
but sure most people use both magic and phys troops i think(basicaly 2 ranged unit : phys and mag)#1178088691216

Now i can see where i went wrong...im level 5 on one hero and level 4 on another...i have wand on level 5 but cannot kill the 2nd stage training ...so at least i know now what to do...many thanks.

leveling up

If you get level 1 bow, then you can get multiples in lair and level up faster.  My level 2 with a bow was able to kill everything in lair.  Not so good in purgatory on map because too many.  Once I got the level 1 wand, was able to kill at a distance also like bow.  Avoided axemen because they got the first hit in.
