Badge Collection Event

Dear players,

We are glad with the new forum, however, its not done yet. One of the things remaining are badges.
with a "new" forum we need new badges.
We would like to ask all of you to call out your wishes.

[i]What badges should we introduce?
Any idea on how they should look?
Is it a 1-year badge or does it stick forever?[/i]

[b]Example:[/b]
Badge for being the oldest (as in first registrated) on the forums
It would be cool if it was a brown old tree kinda medal

[b]Event duration:[/b]July 15 - July 31
After that we will collect (most of) them and add them to the list.
With events on the way you can win those badges!

How about a badge for writing clean sentences that make sense, like:

All your bases are belong to us!!!!!

There's a particular badge which I opted to suggest before --- we shall call it the IGG UNITY BADGE .... Since we all merged then this badge signifies our camaraderie as universal IGG forum members.

HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE?: It should look like moving interlocked chains with five to seven basic colors that would probably represent IGG.  

DURATION: probably 2 weeks

MECHANICS: The badge acquisition purpose is to develop camaraderie not only with the members of the forum by which you are a member of but also to somehow show you have great communication skills with other forum members.

                           The badge aspirant should prove at least 5 successful correspondence to members of other forums (except his/her own forum) by posting the link of his/her correspondence. Successful correspondence refers to the instance where the forum member was acknowledged in the forum he/she intended to correspond to.

EXAMPLE:  (I'm from ZU Forum)

I visit LO Forum:

     Hello everyone I'm Regie from the ZU Forum - I'm happy to be here in your forum. I'd be looking forward to getting to know members of this forum. Be happy, smile always and see you around.

except , you could make it 10 colors, representing each forum ( including MO, excluding IGG main forum ) .

Or the badge could look like 10 abbreviations representing each forum, it would be a ring of circulating " abbreviations ", so there is no lead forum .[code]  - MO - AB - Zu - LO - TOF - MW2 - DO - GO - 2029 - GO II - [/code]Of course the badge might be a little harder to create or whatever if using the abbreviations.. but hey, maybe its worth it, in order to obtain that badge, you need hard work as well .

A separate Badge for each forum .[code]  - MO - AB - Zu - LO - TOF - MW2 - DO - GO - 2029 - GO II - [/code]Since we have 10 forums meshed in to one huge forum [size=2][ in segments, but still in one url : P ][/size], we are able to write on each forum using the same name/avatar/title or whatever.  
These badges will define where each member really came from . OR which ever the forum a member " originated " from .
Where a member would call his/her " home-forum " .

How the Badge should look like .
A total of 10 badges representing each forum .
Each badge must represent its own forum .[code]  - MO - AB - Zu - LO - TOF - MW2 - DO - GO - 2029 - GO II - [/code]For example ; this badge has a letter M, replace with the above abbreviations .

Each member is able to choose [u]only one badge[/u] out of the 10 if they meet the requirements .

* the badge of the game he/she is most active in
* the badge of the forum he/she is most active in
etc ..

Aru Zu has a representative badge already -- it's that emerald green badge you can see at the right most area of my badge loc. It has the initials Z and U, our ex Zu Administrator Limaxine gave it to me and brother unamaus before she left .....

On the Wonderland forum, most of the badges we keep for life. We actually have a list of badges [url=http://forum.wl.igg.com/viewthread.php?tid=55520]here[/url] if you want to see them. The list is a bit outdated though.

Maybe there can be a badge for like "Top forum helpers" or something like that. Something to get people to help others more.

Every Badge for the  player must be valid for month(most posted player,most Online).................. and when  player choose for 5-6 month times badge will be forever(most helper)..... when player not posting\inactive for 1 week then badge will be remove? r/yct46

Be more specific, what else are we supposed to do -- we're trying to get the community back flowing (as we should), so I really don't see any relevance in your post.

at the time i posted IGG was 3hours over the time they had told us our maintenance would end and we were getting no information from mods, admins or any other sort of authority then i look here and all the mods are working on making badges instead of informing us. So there is plenty of relevance in my post.

No, I believe I stand correct -- no relevance whatsoever. Firstly, the moderation team consist of regular members who are appointed for one reason and one reason only -- to encourage activity and moderate the forums; that's what we're appointed to do; and most importantly, [u]can[/u] do.
And I quote: Forum moderators are all volunteers from common gamers and their personal saying and doings do not represent IGG.

So before you start pointing the fingers, do your research please. :)

Secondly, the administrators inform when they are informed -- all they can do is forward  issues to the developers and inform the community when they're informed by higher officials.

I'm going assume that this had something to do with Lords Online, correct?

well i do "stand corrected" then, as i have yet to see the Admin over the past 2 weeks i assumed that he was missing, which makes you guys the higher authority by default. Volunteer or not you guys are currently the highest authority that players can contact as IGG does not respond to anything. If you guys cannot  forward stuff to the devs or any other part of IGG like mods USED to be 2years ago then i am sorry.
