Forum Event Edition 2 - modified - LARGER REWARDS!

same rules, same ways. i ask questions, you hide your answers and only show to ppl with credit above 5000.
total amount of karma to earn with this: 25 (+ 5 bonus for the one person with the most original answer to Q8)
amount differs per question.
questions too hard? well you need to do something for those silver ingots. they're not that easy to obtain.

REQUEST: post in multiple messages from now on, 1st Q1 + 6, then 2,3,4,5,7,8 please. it's troublesome to call in other mods to give rewards as well.

1) Solve this: (x^2-5)^3 = 9(x^2-5)             -> answer in at least 2 decimals.
2) Does cold exist? why/why not?
3) explain this: 1 + 1 = window?
4) a famous character in certain games.. but some baby went playing with the letters! find the correct name: gnohrwaa
5) guess who i am: i am a weasel. my best friend is an elf. my "boss" is a grandpa with a log through his hair, my best friend's girlfriend a mechanic. i've fallen in a dark pit before, also have i traveled to the future.
6) finish the row: 1 - 4 - 19 - 364 - ?
7) which 2 styllistic devices were used here:

8: BONUS - The One With The Most Original Answer Will Receive 5 Bonus Karma! given out as soon as i close the event.
If you were to die and given another chance to live on this planet as an animal, which one would it be and why?

Q1: 6 points - 1 for every correct possible x. (that means you have to give all 6 for all the karma. and yes, every wrong one will cost you one point of the ones you can gain on this question. that means, if you answer 3 right and 3 wrong, u'll have nothing. 2 right and 4 wrong = nothing. 4 right 2 wrong = 2 points. you can only lose the ones you've gained on this question. there are 6 answers in total, every WRONG one will be punished, every MISSING one costs nothing but also gains nothing.)
Q2: 1 point for the correct answer, 2 for the correct explanation
Q3: 3 points for a correct explanation.
Q4: 2 points for the correctly spelled name.
Q5: 2 points for the correctly spelled name (weasel), 2 points for the correctly spelled names of the other ones, (1 mistake gives 1 less possible point on the bonus ones, meaning if you've got the weasel correct and the others wrong, you still have 2 karma for the question. the weasel wrong means you can still get the other points, but they're most probably wrong then).
Q6: 4 points for the correct number.
Q7: 1 correct -> 1 point, 2 correct -> 3 points.
Q8: only the most original answer will receive this bonus!


- the rights to this event belong to me and me alone. the other mods/admins have nothing to say when it comes to giving out rewards/closing this event.
I decide pretty much everything. that means, if you have a complaint about this event/not getting your reward, you'll have to come to me. remind you, i can only give out 80 karma (is 800 silver ingots) out a day, so if you don't get your reward instantly, don't get mad. Edited posts get nothing by default.

oh he's pretty famous allright, when you see it, you'll be like "how the hell could i miss it?"
