Buying Myth War 2 Online

So,Ive send some e-mail to both (IGG.COM / Unigium [ Developer of Myth war ].I would like to know what's your oppinion,and don't understand this wrong,I'm not here to ask you to give any money,I'm here to ask your opinion about this idea of buying Myth War 2 and republish it away from IGG.So please vote,and leave a reply to tell what you think.Thank you.

i think even if you buy people will not play.. i do not wanna start all over again. maybe if all same stuff and all moved and if you accutaly show like you care for the game im sure everyone will like it.. but its just a dream/yct73

well,the decission (if IGG would sell) to give the database is only IGGs,but I know how hard is to get stuff in this game,so in case i will be able to buy this,ill do my best to make it a little easier ...

Who knows? When Lunia was owned by an extremely money grubbing greedy company, the players kept protesting on the forum until they sold the game to a better company (which made all the premium characters obtainable through quests). Although this game is pretty much dead so not much chance of that happening =/

would cost lots of money to buy rights ...  if u really thinking about it u need to contact the code team that made the game because igg out sources they dont code them selfs so they dont really own the game just the rights so they cant sell u any thing but there data bace wich would not happen but the code team would deff sell.. lol

Well first you will have to buy out the rest of IGG's contract, then you can discuss how much you will have to pay Gium about how much they will charge you for hosting rights and how much percentage of profit made from the game will go to them.

Unless you have a serious plan of action with this game, your not going to find it easy to break even in less than 2 years. Now consider, is it worth that much time to you?

There are a lot of other variables that you need to consider too such as if you can't obtain the database from IGG about char info, will you compensate players? How will you compensate them, everybody equally in terms of levels and pets, or will you increase the XP from quests & maps for a length of time until you feel people have had enough time to easily get back to where they were? What happens to all the items people got from spending on the mall with IGG? Who will you employ if any and how will they be in contact with players for tech support or other issues? Who will perform maintenances?

There are a lot of things you need to think about, other than what you have, as what you have asked bears little to no relevance to the actual matter of buying the game.

the thing is, it's so difficult to buy MW2 for some people, like me. and it's not for money, it's cos i dont have a credit/debit card to buy in internet. And im sure that nobody wants to start from the begining, i've played for 1 year and i wouldn't like to lose my chars.... /yct45

I think it would be a good idea, they should also update the servers to keep all the Asians on their own servers so they're not always lagging out in big fights. I've been playing the Myth War series since 2006 and I would love to start over again. If they republished the game it could make a new name for itself and be more popular. And the most important thing to me is it would keep 80% of the 11-15 year old kids out of the game.

just buy the old Mythwar 1 and i got 30-35 people who will play instantly for we are waiting for this and would gladly top up to a non corrupt company.  /yct35

lol 30-35 ppl, that is NOTHING, that won't cover much cost of anything(of course depending on how much they are actually willing to spend) but more then likely no where near worth it from a business perspective
