Journalist Recruitment Round 4

Dear players,

Currently, we have been lacking journalists because three of them have quit. We need Journalists to fill in these spaces.

[u]What to do when you're appointed:[/u]
- After being promoted, you are an Intern Journalist.
- You must have 20 reports to be promoted to Staff Journalist.
- All articles must be posted in the Press Zone. (the hidden forum for Journalists)
- You must have at least 4/5+ reports posted every month if you stand a chance of staying a Journalist.
- When you have posted an article, the moderators and administrators will select the excellent articles and move them to the News under the Sun column.
[color=Red]  -Articles Must have more than 300 Word[/color]

[u]A few rules:[/u]
- IGG Journalists can report anything valuable, in-game or out-game news, events etc.
- The content of articles should obey the IGG Forum rules.
- Only the articles in column of News under the Sun will be awarded with Forum Money.

The payment will be more, depending on the time you were journalist. It will increase every 3 months of active journalism, and it will decrease in case 3 months you are unactive..

[i]2. Poll System[/i][/b]

In every month, moderator should make a Poll for every journalist and people will have to vote
The poll will have this option:

Depending on the quantity of votes, the journalists wil get a quantity of Forum Money.
After the votes are made, an aveage will be calculated by this way:
All votes will be added and theyw ill be divided by the number of votes
Let's say "Journalist A" recieved:
10! - 3 Votes
8 - 2 Votes
6
4 -1 Vote

So we will do this:
((10+10+10)+(8+8)+4)/6
(   30     +  16 +4)/6
        50          /6=8.3333

After that we check the table and award them the corresponding Forum Money


10-8 - 150 Money
7-6 - 100 Money
5-4 - 0 Money
3-2 - 1 Warning
1-0 - 2 Warnings

4 Warnings=Journalist status taken out

Um, I'm lisalisak and I want to be on the journalist team again, so do I have to go through this whole progress again, or do I apply on the lisalisak account. It's actually funny. I'm really a boy in real life but I just used that account cause I wanted to see how it felt to act like a girl. I confessed because I was starting to feel gay and guilty (I'm not gay, a lot of people actually do this!). I told on AG forum, but I guess you all don't know. Um, so can I rejoin or do I have to write all those articles again and go through the whole process of being promoted again? If so, then I will no reapply :(

I don't understand the, "Increase in payment."

You will start on x1

In 3 months of activeness you will go up to x2..., in another 3 months x3...etc...

If you are not active for 1 month you go from 3x to 2x, etc...

I know it's maybe out of line, but do you have any idea if there are going to be Moderator/Journalist Recruitment in the Altis Gates Forum, once Alpha Test 2 is released?

I have no idea... Moderators just know things of their forums usually... I  am not a mod from AG so I dont know

Once OB is released, we'll recruit more Moderators. As for journalists being recruited, it depends how active the forum is and we'll have to wait for the forum to re-establish and pick up its activity and progress.

So the job of a Journalist is to write articles, this articles can be about anything?
It is interesting, too bad I'm focusing on Altis Gates Forum; would be great if we could have AG Journalists someday...

Apply you can put AG reports, or even news from around the world :P

Uhmm! I don't know, I just want to become a Mod in AG Forums, but still I love writing =O!
Well I could write a report on AG but, I haven't got much to say...Just the amazing AT/CB and the dissapointing delay T_T...

You dont have to talk only of AG, dont you play any other IGG game? if you don't then you can make reports of global things, movies, etc

You gotta take the decision to apply or not.. Check my reports or lisalisak's or dratini's to check what we call Reports...
