How is balance this game

Not talking about race m is more about units , because it seem range caster complete overshadow other units  specialy melee , if is not enought have to walk near to the target caster always attack first, not even mention the traps

So  is really balanced or i have to produce only  those range caster ?

Thanks ,  i saw in chat some guy who told to another press f8 , that active and batle simulator,  is have help me a lot to clear doubts ,
but the  button from beacon tower never work me , i suggest fix it pls
