Introduction
This is a community forum for IGG games players.
Forum Sections
Official Forum
Announcements - As it's name says, it's the section of the forum which contains important information, events, news, etc.. Only admins are allowed to generate a thread.
Service Center - Queries usually belong in this section.Suggestions, technical problems, game problems, and forum problems belong in this section.
Buzz Zone - The Buzz Zone contains helpful tips about promoting IGG games - earn $$, buzz credits, etc..
GetPaid Zone - Concerns about GetPaid belong in this section.
Player Space
IGG Games Overview - Forum members can post media works - screenshot, music, video, wallpapers, etc.. Of course, these entries must be related to IGG games.
Event Zone - Event news is posted on the Event Zone. Anyone can post their own events and also post conrresponding event entries.
• Fantastic Masterpiece - This section is for outstanding work by members.
Guild Base - This section is basically for recruiting purposes. You can also apply for a guild badge.
Gossip Column - The section is for general discussions (non-IGG related), forum games, etc..
• Discussion - This sub-section is for guides and specific game discussions.
• News under the sun - Rated articles.
• Mystery Zone - Mystery games.
• Press Zone - Basic articles.
Ranks
Rank is determined by Credits/Prestige. The higher the credits/prestige, the higher the rank. In opppose to higher credits/prestige, a member with a low credits/prestige will have a lower rank.
Beggar - This happens when a member has a negative Prestige. Members with this rank are unable to post. These members are usually violators of the rules.
Newbie - This is the starting rank for everyone. Fresh stats.
Member - Members can obtain this rank after having at least 50 credits.
Conqueror - Members with at least 200 credits are in this group.
Lord - Members with at least 1000 credits are in this group.
King - Members with at least 4000 credits are in this group.

Search
The search function is an important tool on any forum. Everyone needs to be familiar to this. Before making a new thread, you should search for the topic first to avoid repetitive threads.
1. Keywords
This is the textbox in which you type in the keywords of your search. It may be full words or just beginning or ending letters. It's best to use asterisks in the beginning and at the end, especially if you're unsure of what you're searching for. Using asterisks gives a broader search of the item(s) you're searching.
Example..
You want to search for a guide on how to download the game. You can type *download*, *down*, *load*, etc..
2. Username
In this textbox, you can type member's username to search for their posts. If unsure of the username, you can use the asterisks to help you get more results.
3. Search Mode
• Title - Search keyword in title
• Blog only - Search keyword in blogs
• Trade only - Search keyword in trade
• Category Info - Search keyword in category
• Full text - Search keyword in any post/title
4. Range
• All topics - Search keyword in any type of topic
• Digest topics - Search keyword in digest
• Sticky topics - Search keyword in sticky
5. Special topic
• Poll topic - Search keyword in poll threads
• Trade topic - Search keyword in trade threads
• Reward topic - Search keyword in reward threads
• Activity topic - Search keyword in activity threads
• Debate topic - Search keyword in debate threads
• Video topic - Search keyword in video threads
6. Time
If you know the post date of the thread/post you're searching, you can use this to shorten the amount of results.
7. Sort by
You can select ascend or descend order. Basically, it lets you view the latest view first or last.
8. Search forum & from...
Select the section that you want to search. If you know the section that you want to search, you select a specific section, otherwise, select "Search all open forums."
How to create a thread
1. Subject
• Tag - Select a tag that corresponds to your subject
• Textbox - Type in the title of the subject
2. Smilies
You can add smilies in your thread/post, but avoid posting too many.
3. In this block, you can disable some features, add the thread to your blog, etc..
• When editing a post, you'll also see the delete button from this block. You can delete your own post if
no one else have posted after you.
4. Attachments
• Browse - Look for the file in your computer
• Permission - Set the permission needed to view the attachment
• Price - Set the price
• Description - Give a brief description about the attachment
5. Tag
You can allow tags for your thread. Maximum of five tags.
6. Other Info You can select this to set permission, price, and icon of the thread.
• 6.1 Permission - Set the permission of the thread
• 6.2 Price - Set the price
• 6.3 Icon - Set the icon of the thread
7. Message Textbox
You can type your message in this textbox.
• 7.1 Bold, Italic, Underline - Use the corresponding command to format your message
• 7.2 Font - Select the font that best interests you
• 7.3 Size - Select your desired font size
• 7.4 Font Color - Select font color
• 7.5 Left, Center, Right Align your message
• 7.6 Link - Format link [url][/url]
Email - Format email
Image - Format image [img][/img]
Quote - Format quote [quote][/quote]
Code - Format code[ code ][ /code ] (Delete the space before the brackets)
• 7.7 Remove format - Remove text format
Unlink - Remove link format
Undo - Goes back to the last action
Redo - Redo action
• 7.8 Number list - Number list format
Bullet list - Bullet list format
• 7.9 Outdent - Remove indent
Indent - Indent format
Float Left/Right
• 7.10 Free message - Insert free message [free][/free]
Hide - Insert hidden message
a. Content will be shown upon replying [ hide ][/hide ] (Delete the space between the brackets)
b. Content will be shown only to users with xxxxx credits and above. [hide=xxxxx][/hide]
• 7.11 Marquee - Makes the message scroll from left to right [fly][/fly]
Flash - Insert flash [flash][/flash]
• 7.12 Discuz! Code - View message in Discuz!
• 7.13 WYSIWYG - What You See Is What You Get. View the message like how it will look when posted.
• 7.14 Simple/All mode - Change to simple mode (less options) and all mode (more features)
• 7.15 Check Length - Checks word count and byte size
• 7.16 Preview - Preview message
• 7.17 Reset - Reset message textbox to it's previous entry.
• ---- Restore - Restores previous message. This is helpful when you are disconnected/timed out while typing a
message.
How to reply to a post
The message interface is similar to creating a thread so I won't go in detail on that.
This is an example of a post.
• The Reply at the top right will take you to a similar interface like creating the thread. You can type your message from
there. This is usually used when typing a more detailed message.
• The Reply at the bottom left will just scroll the page down to the message box at the bottom of the page. This is
usually used when making a quickpost. The default subject would be "Reply 1# kevino99's post" for the image example
above.
• The quote is used to select a specific message. It's purpose is to inform members that you're answering to that
specific message.
• Edit allows you to make adjustments to your message.
• Props allows you to use Props that you've bought.
• Report is used to report posts. Please use this button if there's any problem with posts.
• Rating allows you to rate the post. You are not allowed to rate your own post.
• TOP takes you to the top of the page.
• The box at the bottom right is for moderation purposes so just ignore it.
How to post images/videos
Image
• Attachment (Explained in the previous section of this guide)
• Image hosting site
Tinypic, Imageshack, Photobucket and many more image hosting sites can be used. The sites provide the codes.. at
least tinypic does. The IMG code is usually used for forums. If they don't provide the codes, take the link and insert it in
the code .
Video
• Embed a video on the forum

Next, find the url that ends with "=1" ..take that link and put it in a flash code.

PM (Private Message)
• Send PM - Generate a PM to send.
• Inbox - Incoming messages are stored here.
• Draftbox - Saved draft messages are stored here.
• Tracking - You can check your sent messages here.
• Search PM - Search PM.
• Archive Messages - Check message archive.
• Ignore List - List of members you've blocked.
Search has been explained.
Tag - Allows you to search for tags.
Love Wall
• Search - Type the Order number of the message to search.
• Post a message - You need 5 Favor in order to post a message.
• You can type the nickname of the recipient, change your nickname, type your message, change the color, select the
design and preview.
My..
• Topics - View your topics and replies.
• Subscriptions - View subscription threads.
• Polls - View your own polls or polls in which you've participated.
• Rewards - View reward stats.
• Debates - View your debate threads or debates in which you've participated.
• Favorites - View favorite topics and sections.
• Permissions - View permissions of every rank.
• Trades - Something's wrong with it.
• Activities - View your activities or activities in which you've participated.
• Buddy - View or add buddies.
MemberCP
Member's CP contains your forum stats.
Credits.. I'll leave this out since it's not used.
Edit Profile
• Profile - Select gender, birthday, location, site, and messenger account.
• Personalized - Customize your avatar, biography, shop intro, and signature.
• Options - Change forum formats.
Props
Props store contains items that you can buy using Favor. These items allows members to do certain mod actions such as bump a thread, change the font color, keep your name invisible, etc.. In addition to that, you can also buy the Money Card and have a chance to win some Forum Money.
FAQ - A little forum faq.
Money
Money can be obtained through various ways.
• Money can be given by mods/admins to useful posts.
• Digest - Automatically given by the system. Digest 1 = 2 Money, Digest 2 = 4 Money,
Digest 3 = 6 Money.
• Exchange - Money is exchanged for IGGem. It's automatically exchanged every Monday.
Favor
Favor is similar to Money.
• Favor can be given by mods/admins to useful posts.
• Digest - Automatically given by the system. Digest 1 = 10 Favor, Digest 2 = 20 Favor,
Digest 3 = 30 Favor.
• Love Wall - Favor can be used to post a message on the Love Wall.
5 Favor per message.
• Props - Favor can be used to purchase forum props.
Credits
The credits that is seen on the user profile is not related to the game credits. This credit is known as forum credit.
Here's the formula for credits.
Credits = Prestige*1 + Favor*0.5
